 Paul J. Messina has over 39 years’ experience in the banking arena and has been directly and indirectly involved in hundreds of millions of dollars of closed commercial, SBA and residential loans.

Mr. Messina is well versed in lending and prides himself on integrity, honesty and customer service to achieve the goal of each and every client.  Every client is treated fairly regardless of the loan amount, simple or complex and is sensitive to their objective and goal.

Prior to founding Spartan Mortgage, LLC, a licensed mortgage broker in the State of Florida Mr. Messina was the founder and President of  Nationwide Mortgage Inc., a licensed mortgage banker in the State of New Jersey.

Mr. Messina has also been employed by various banks over the past 39 years as an
executive officer. Those positions included Senior Vice President/National SBA Director
and Market Credit Executive for a major top five bank, Executive Vice President for a
non-bank National SBA Lender, Senior Vice President/Senior Loan Officer for a
community bank and Chief Credit Officer of Commercial/SBA Division for a community
bank.
Over the years Mr. Messina has been directly and indirectly involved in hundreds of
millions of dollars of SBA loans.
